SLIME

Today we made SLIME in Room 5! We mixed one cup of soap flakes with 3 cups of warm water. We used a hand mixer to each have a turn beating the slime mixture. We wrote some describing words about how the slime felt, smelled and looked.

We were having such a great time exploring our slime that Room 3 came out to join us!

How many words can you think of to describe our slime?

  1. Wow what an awesome experience!!! We loved making slime when savanah was at Acorn kids and the children loved the whole process and transformation it went through to become the slime at the end. What an incredible science exploration learning experience.

    1. You sure can Mackenzie! All we used was a cup of Lux Flakes (see Mrs Elliott - we have a box in the classroom!), three cups of warm water and some food colouring. You might have to get Mum to help you beat the mixture :) and hey presto - icky gooey slime!
